EXPEDITION WITH SVEN-OLOF LINDBLAD

In March 2018 we headed out with MS Freya for ten days on a private expedition with our friend Sven-Olof Lindblad, founder and CEO of Lindblad National Geographic Expeditions. Sven has built a new cruise ship, the National Geographic Endurance, which will begin cruising Arctic waters during winter soon. He wanted to see and explore the possibilities for his Arctic cruise ships this time of year. It was harsh, cold, beautiful and amazing. We had the time of our lives, and some absolutely incredible encounters with wildlife, and of course the all the magic of midwinter Svalbard.
